Application Summary

The Sadara chemical complex is expected to be a highly corrosive environment with respect to construction materials. The primary technical and commercial variables contributing to the application include:

    • Highly corrosive chemicals associated with chlorine and vinyls manufacturing
    • Site proximity to one of the saltiest bodies of water in the world, the Arabian Gulf
    • Very high local temperatures, which increases the corrosiveness of the environment’s chemicals and salty air
    • Commercially, Sadara purchasing management desired domestically manufactured content and historically proven material technologies utilized by ARAMCO or Dow

Enduro’s Solution

    • Enduro Middle East, established by Al-AbdulKarim Holding Co. (AKH) and Enduro Composites, with a manufacturing facility in Dammam, Saudi Arabia
    • Domestic manufactured content capability for non-metallic fiber reinforced ladder and cable tray products
    • Proven composite technology and service performance history with Dow and ARAMCO
    • Proven performance in chlorine and vinyls manufacturing applications along coastal saltwater environments
